X2 Shoulders and Arms

Usually, when I only have a very short timeframe to do a workout. X2 Shoulders and Arms works best. It's just 7 workouts in 3 rounds. Since, I did a resistance workout yesterday along with X2 Ab Ripper. Today, I did regular P90X Ab Ripper as it's not advisable to work out your abs everyday. Regular Ab Ripper is less intense and lighter for me. I did X2 Ab Ripper two days in a row before, the pain recovery after was great, but Tony Horton is right, we shouldn't do that in a row. So, I just prefer switching the next day to regular Ab Ripper if needed.

X2 Chest and Back on a Tuesday

I love doing X2 workouts of phase 2. Today I started it with X2 Ab Ripper and X2 Chest and back. The fun part of this workout is doing the push-ups on the medicine balls. Most especially the 4 medicine ball push-up. Eventually as it gets to the ending of the workout I started to die out in my pull-ups. The odd part, after I was done with the whole workout. I felt like working out some more in the gym with other types of regiments. Therefore, did some arm curls as a end treat of finishing my workout.

Switcharoo week

My usual workout days is M,W,F is strength resistance workouts. While, T,TH, and Sat will be running or cardio. Instead for today, I did a 4 mile run. Therefore, tomorrow will be a definite gym day. Felt good to run today, I think the energy for running came from last week's 2 runs.

PR broken "officially"

My actual PR for a 5k is 25:20, but due to lack of running as I use to it has been fluctuating from 25:30 to 26:20s the past months I've ran. Today, I was lucky. The 5k race was shorten, it was actually 2.77 miles instead of 3.1 miles. But official time was 23:29 today. With my calculation if it was an actual 5k in distance it would of been at 26:?? min.

Yoga before a 5k

Usually Fridays are either a leg workout or Yoga if there's a 5k the next day. Tomorrow, I will be running a 5k, therefore, Yoga P90X2 it is today. Did much better doing crane and wheel as usual. I'm aiming to hopefully one day do a split in the stretches, as the left foot forward while right is at back is almost becoming a split. I use a yoga block to help with a split.

Thanksgiving run

It may be a holiday from work. But it's never a holiday to work out. Rarely focused on just a run alone for a workout. Did a 4 mile run today before dinner time. Legs will totally be sore tomorrow. Hopefully, it'll be fine for this weekend's 5k run.

Wednesday favorite

Wednesday is my favorite day of the week for working out. It's the day to work more on the arms. If it's not Shoulders and Arms day, it's Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps day.

P90X Chest, Back and Triceps

The whole month of October I was pretty much stuck with night classes and unable to work out consistently. Now, that it's all over. I'm officially back to getting on track to blog all my workouts. Today was a modified P90X Chest, Back, and Triceps workout.

As usual I always do P90X2 Ab Ripper as a warm. For the P90X workout, instead of doing push-ups on the ground, I've substituted it to doing chest presses in the bench. Another modification is instead of Diamond Push-ups alone, it was push-ups towards one medicine ball. The side to side push-up was also utilized with a medicine ball, alternating each hand to press onto ball.

Tomorrow: Crossfit day!
